RESPONSIBILITIES: . Leads the use of advanced methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation of complex scientific requirements and problems and their solutions . Analyzes, implements, or tests system components related to scientific requirements . Implements scientific concepts, methods and procedures . Reviews practices and procedures to clarify objectives . Reviews and prepares documentation to describe scientific algorithms and model development, logic, coding, and corrections Qualifications . 15-18 years of specialized technical functional experience in optical (to include infrared and ultraviolet wavelengths), radiofrequency, gamma, neutron, X-ray, and/or space weather disciplines . Doctorate . Active TS/SCI Security Clearance In addition to responsibilities listed, the jobholder should expect to undertake other related duties as assigned.
